These are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at St Francis de Sale Church Hall, Wash Common, Newbury, from 7.15 -9.00pm.
The meetings are mainly social but many members bring hand sewing projects to work on. Each month there is usually a theme (see details for 2024 below) and members can bring work to ‘Show and Tell’. You do not have to bring anything to show and you could bring a work in progress or just something that you think would interest members.
We often have demonstrations of techniques but if you have any queries about how to tackle a sewing problem then one of the members will be willing to give you advice. Just ask.
Membership is £30 per annum running from October to October. If you join during the year the fee will be reduced accordingly. Members over 80 are free. There is no charge for the monthly meetings. However, you can buy a raffle ticket for £1 to enter into the draw to win a sewing related prize.

January 24th Meeting - launch of the Block of the Month - "Perfectly Pieced" led by Cat
Saturday January 27th - Sew on Saturday (SOS) workshop in Chieveley Village Hall, 10am - 4pm. No charge. Bring you own work. Cat will be on hand to help/advise in the morning if you want to start the BOTM.
February 28th Meeting - A Hand Quilting session led by Caroline

April 24th Meeting - Gizmos and Gadgets. Bring along any gadgets you have which work well or alternatively are a waste of money! An opportunity to share what's good and what's not.

Location & Directions
From Newbury take the A343 Andover Road up the hill and straight on at the mini roundabouts by The Gun and The Old Bell. Park House School is on the left and just past this is Warren Road with a sign pointing to Catholic Church. Take the second turning on the right, past the presbytery and in to the car park.
