Monthly Meetings (Club Night)

Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at St Francis de Sale Church Hall, Wash Common, Newbury,  from  7.15 -9.00pm.

The meetings are mainly social but many members bring hand sewing projects to work on.  Each month there is usually a theme (see details for 2025 below) and members can bring work to ‘Show and Tell’. You do not have to bring anything to show and you could bring a work in progress or just something that you think would interest members.

We often have demonstrations of techniques but if you have any queries about how to tackle a sewing problem then one of the members will be willing to give you advice.  Just ask.

Membership is currently £30 per annum running from October to October.  If you join during the year the fee will be reduced accordingly.    Members over 80 are free.  There is no charge for the monthly meetings.  However, you can buy a raffle ticket for £1 to enter into the draw to win a sewing related prize.

Workshops are held regularly and details about these and how to sign up can be found in the newsletters and on the Workshops tag.

If you wear a name badge  to the meeting you will be entered into a free raffle!
