Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at St Francis de Sale Church Hall, Wash Common, Newbury, from 7.15 -9.00pm.
The meetings are mainly social but you can bring hand sewing projects to work on. Each month there is a theme (see details for 2026 below) and members can bring work to ‘Show and Tell’. You do not have to bring anything to show and you could bring a work in progress or just something that you think would interest members.
We often have demonstrations of techniques but if you have any queries about how to tackle a sewing problem then one of the members will be willing to give you advice. Just ask.
Membership is currently £35 per annum running from October to October. If you join during the year the fee will be reduced accordingly. There is no charge for the monthly meetings. However, you can buy a raffle ticket for £1 to enter into the draw to win a sewing related prize.
Workshops are held regularly and details about these are emailed round to members and given at the monthly meetings. They are listed below along with the monthly meetings' programme.

Location & Directions
From Newbury take the A343 Andover Road up the hill and straight on at the mini roundabouts by The Gun and Pets' Corner. Park House School is on the left and just past this is Warren Road with a sign pointing to Catholic Church. Take the second turning on the right, past the presbytery and in to the car park.
